Certain word combinations appear to loose their intra-word spacing and kerning when exported to pdf. In the attached files "touched on" on page 4 is "touchedon" and "the works" is "theworks" even when retyped and other fonts selected. Have not been able to eliminate the problem even retyping with different wordage - a run-together still occurs at the same point in the document. Thanks! Steve K9ZW

I can reproduce this as well on Mac OS X 10.4.11 and with several fonts so assigning to myself.

I think that I have fixed this bug. Can you install the following test patch and see if the bug is fixed for you?: PowerPC: http://jane.neooffice.org/test/NeoOffice-2.2.2-Patch-4-Test-2-PowerPC.dmg Intel: http://jane.neooffice.org/test/NeoOffice-2.2.2-Patch-4-Test-2-Intel.dmg

Will check the test patch tonight. Want to be on exactly the same machine with the exact same files. What is the recommended test procedure in case a patch roll-back is needed? Thanks! Steve K9ZW

Many thanks - curious though what was the cause (kind of interesting how it appeared at only certain points). Thank you! Steve
