The Save/Don't Save/Cancel dialog box that appears when you attempt to close a window with unsaved changes doesn't look like a native Mac dialog. In particular, it doesn't use the same font most applications use for this.

After using the application for somewhat longer, I've noticed similar issues in most dialog boxes. While the font used for menus and windows titles looks "right" (i.e. the same as in every other app) fonts used inside dialogs look "wrong". generally too skinny and too small. I';m not sure what the standard font used in Mac OS X UIs is (Charcoal maybe?) but whatever it is, NeoOffice should start using it where appropriate.

We had attempted to use Lucida Grande (the default Mac OS X font) but kerning issues and the like made the interface look horrible. The font that we're using has turned out to be the cleanest that we've found thus far for the interface. We're using it in some places where the system is providing it (e.g. menus, window titlebars, etc.) and will be playing with getting it right in the future. At the present time, though, trying to shift the font application-wide results in bad layouts and some poor appearance :( There are some tricks with font remapping that you can try in the meantime to try and get a better look. ed
